Outdoor Science School-  This week long overnight educational experience is available to students in 5th grade.  Instruction takes place at an off-school campus LAUSD approved site where students learn 4th and 5th grade California State Science Standards from teachers called naturalists, who are specially trained in earth and life sciences.  The tuition for outdoor science school is approximately $300 per student but scholarships may be available for family's in need of financial assistance. Stoner Avenue 5th grade teachers attend and participate in supervision, the daily hike, and science lessons.
